Telfs near Innsbruck was the venue of the latest ESF Level 2 Coaching Course. The course attracted a good entry of 13 participants from Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Luxembourg and Romania. The candidates were treated to a great view of the Tyrolean Alps but had no time for mountain adventures as WSF Tutor Ronny Vlassaks took the group through four intense days of lectures and practical sessions. For the last two days Michael Khan joined the group as assessor. All candidates had to each deliver a group and individual session. Those who passed the practical part now need to deliver a one month training plan with one of their pupils back home. Their written plan will then be assessed and only once that has been approved they qualify as WSF L2 Coaches.

Level 2 Coaching Courses are open to all WSF L1 Coaches but also ESF L1 Coaches and coaches that have passed a similar course run by a national federation and approved by the ESF Coaching Committee.

The next Level 2 Course will be held 12-15 October 2017 in Malmö/Sweden.
