England retained their European Junior Team Championship title for the ninth year in a row!

The number one seed did not dissapoint as they beat France 2:1 in the final  at Bielsko-Biala, Poland.

It was the 3rd time in the last 6 years as the two nations battled it out for the gold medal. Victor Crouin, who won the individual title just days before, gave France the lead after beating Tom Walsh 3:1, but after that, wins for Nicholas Wall and Lucy Turmel made sure the trophy was England's yet again.

The bronze medal went to the Czech Republic as they beat Ireland 2:0 in the 3rd place playoff. Ireland, the 5th seed, gatecrashed the top four, mainly thanks to finishing top in their group over France.

Same as in the individuals, there were historic results for the host nation, Poland. The 12th place finish was the best the country has had in European U-19 tournaments.
