ECC 2015 - Day 1

Yesterday saw the start of the Bremer European Club Championships. The first matches took place at the Squash4You Club. From 17th September, part of the tournament matches are moving to Galeria Krakowska, the most popular mall in Krakow.

 

 

The competition is attended by 15 men's teams and 9 women's teams. Yesterday 23 matches were played.

From 17th September some matches will be hosted in Galeria Krakowska, until Saturday. There will be lot of attractions for visitors, provided by event partners, e.g. a basketball shooting competition, a bike trial show and  free squash lessons. The whole event is proving to be very popular and has generated much media coverage, including press, radio and TV. 

There were no big surprises yesterday - most favourites won their matches. The sole surprise was the match betweenGerman champions Paderborn Squash Club and Czech champions Viktoria Brno Sportprofit which ended as draw, 2:2.

About the organizer:

Squash4You has been developed and created by and for lovers of squash. It is on the site of a former glassworks facility, on an area of 1000 sq.m., where you will find 7 squash courts certified by the US McWIL-Courtwall company and used for professional squash games throughout the world.
