Italian Open Masters 2015

The Italian Open Masters, part of the ESF European Masters Circuit 2015, took place from 11 to 13 September 2015, at the Figs National Technical Center in Riccione.

 

The tournament was directed by Davide Babini (Tournament Director) and Mario Viola (Tournament Referee), helped by the referees Franco Cardini, Natale Romanò, Anna Rita Ugolini, Mario Fabbri, Mauro Gabbiati, Yuri Marangoni and Marziano Santambrogio, who enabled the smooth running of the event, refereeing all the main draw matches.

There were 6 age groups on court , with athletes from England, France, South Africa, USA, Germany, Lithuania, Egypt, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine and Italy.

Good results were achieved by the Italians with 3 golds (Dall'Igna - Petronzio - Cabassi), 4 silvers (Berlese - Aroyo - Morelli - Drusiani) and three bronzes (Bogani - Bracuto - Matteazzi).

The event was a rewarding experience for all the players who really enjoyed the Figs National Centre and the beautiful city of Riccione.
