ESF Level 2 Coaching Course in Latvia
At the beginning of July the Latvian Capital of Riga was the venue of a ESF Level 2 Coaching course. This course was worldwide the first one to be held according to the new WSF Level 2 Syllabus and attracted 16 participants from Latvia, Estonia, Belarus and Russia. The candidates spent 4 intense days of lectures and practical sessions, which were conducted by Ronny Vlassaks. At the end of the course he was joined by Michael Khan for the final assessments. The new syllabus requires that Level 2 courses are assessed by two qualified WSF L2 Tutors in order to maintain a high quality level and common standards worldwide.
The candidates had to deliver a 20 minute group and individual session each followed by a Q&A. Additionally they are required to plan, deliver and document a 4-week training plan with one of their students back home. Only after this has been approved they will receive their certificate and be listed in the coaches directory on the WSF-Website.
