First Super Series Tournament on the ESF Masters Circuit

Hamburg, Germany attracts 269 entries

21st International German Masters Championships, in Hamburg is a big success

Hamburg – Being the first Super Series tournament on the ESF Masters Circuit, the 21st International German Masters Championships was played at Sportwerk, Hamburg in the North of Germany.  The tournament was a big success with 269 participants from many different countries in twelve different categories. Home nation Germany had 119 players - the biggest amount of participants. England became the most successful nation lifting three age trophies. Germany follows with two trophies. The other trophies go to Norway, Wales, France, Spain, Sweden, Belgium and Switzerland.

"Being the Vice-President Masters of the German Squash Federation, I congratulate all winners and all other players on their performance. We saw many high quality and interesting matches. We are already are looking forward to next year when the 22nd edition of International German Masters Championships will be held again here in Hamburg!“, says Störte Becker.
