The Winners of European Team Championships Div.3 in Lisbon

Poland's Men's and Russia's Women are the winners of ETC Div.3
There were thrilling finals in both the Men’s and the Women’s draws.
After 4 matches Poland and Austria's Men’s teams were tied (2-2) with also a draw on games, everyone was waiting in anticipation, whilst the referees carried out the final counting of points.
Eventually the Polish team were crowned the winners by a margin of just 6 points (130-124) and then the celebrations could begin.
Austria were runners up and Ukraine finished in 3rd place.
In the Women’s final, after a win for each team in the first two matches, Varvara Esina (Russia) managed to come back from a 1-2 against Sandra Polak (Austria) and won 3-2, awarding the title to Russia.
Austria were runners up and Norway finished in 3rd place.
The European Team Championships Division 3 were a huge success, with 29 teams participating from 20 european countries.
