ESF Board Members invited to Brussels to meet with newly appointed WSF CEO William Louis-Marie

Last week ESF President Hugo Hannes and ESF Vice President Thomas Troedsson were invited to Brussels to meet with newly appointed WSF CEO William Louis-Marie and WSF President Jacques Fontaine.
This important meeting was put in place to establish a true partnership between the new WSF CEO and ESF Board. William said that “It is very important for our President Jacques Fontaine and I to engage in a new dialogue with ESF and your members in order to build constructive bridges between our 2 structures and importantly ensure a clear line of communications so we can tackle collectively the issues our sport is currently facing.”
The group had a useful meeting to discuss various topics and priorities. William Louis-Marie and Jacques Fontaine will be invited to the Members’ Platform on the 1st May and to the ESF AGM on the 2nd May 2020 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
The newly appointed WSF CEO spent time with the ESF Board Members, before going on to meet some of the European delegations in Washington during the Worlds.
