The Polish Squash Federation National Teams Championships starting from June 26th in the historical city of Krakow. Starting from Wednesday June 25th the World Squash Federation Development and Coaching Conference will be combined with the event.

Only at the end of May Polish Squash enjoyed matches of the Individual Closed Championships in Wroclaw. The event encouraged the best Polish female, male and junior players to compete at the highest level to ultimately crown Magda Kaminska and Marcin Karwowski in senior competitions. The most splendid matches took place in an all-glass show-court at Solny Square in Old Town, attracting over 700 spectators, with even more watching live on the internet.

Now the time for clubs is coming up. The best Polish 16 men and women, and 8 junior teams, will fight to show their best squash and to raise the PFS National Team Championships Cup in their hands. The most important matches will see again an all-glass show-court at Jezioranskiego Square right in Krakow city center. According to Polish Rules each team can play with one foreigner who is always number 1 string of the team, thus a few famous names were announced: Greg Gaultier, James Willstrop, Simon Rosner or Laura Massaro, Line Hansen, Alison Waters.

Actually the third edition of Squash&Art Festival is much more than that. Starting from Wednesday June 25th the World Squash Federation Development and Coaching Conference will be combined with the event. Many recognized speakers are expected including Heather Deayton, Malcolm Willstrop, John Milton, Major Maniam, Peter Hirst or Michael Khan. More details can be found on the conference website: http://worldsquashcoachingconference2014.com/

Roy Gingell, widely recognized WSF Referee and Senior Assessor, will run a two-part workshop dedicated to specific and current topics allowing participants to develop practical knowledge of this important task during any squash competition. Participants will be awarded with the CBTA National Workshop certificate. Also for those willing to improve their squash techniques a squash camp is planned under the supervision of Malcom Willstrop. Many other attractions will take place including concerts, dancing shows and public contests. Squash&Art Festival is the third consecutive edition of the National League Final run in Krakow. The Squash4You of Krakow will host later in October 2014 Polish Masters Squash Open, part of the ESF Masters Circuit. The same venue will host the ESF European Clubs Championships in Autumn 2015 which will be the most prestigious international event next year in Poland.
